Yemp Booty

A 3 track broken beat single (16m 37s) — released December 22nd 2008 on Round The Houses

Round the Houses second release features the production talents of premier bruky broken this and that step Tim Landslide. Originally know for his work on Hospital Records & Om records he has more recently been releasing on numerous labels in order to cover his wide remit of production. Under his Bob Henzell guise he provided the August RTH 001 release which enjoyed extensive airplay and had featured/bannered content across download stores. Most recently his dubstepsoul single 'Dreams & Visions' on Landmass records also enjoyed featured content status. Yemp booty is a bit of classic landslide that has been tried and tested on dancefloors. Rich Chromatic chords rise up over a swung out grade A break. Fatty bass and electric bleeps keep it simple and to the point. Domu says: "This track was my little bomb for such a long time. It used to kill it at Co-op at plastic people and i ve slipped it into many a set around the world to cries of WHAT IS THAT! Finally it will be unleashed to the world. It is a true genre defying piece of music that only Landslide could execute this well. A true timeless BOMB! Now go drop it. " The track has only been in the property of a select few but generated constant enquires as to a release. To now accompany the original two excellent brand nu mixes complete the package. BBE's Aaron Jerome steps in for the remix duty taking the original on a 'funky'(re: nu urban funky) twist . The break gets replaced with a direct 4x4 and lets the rich chord energy drive it along.. Yemp Hooty is an alternative version that features the vocal talents of Colonel Red. The original break now rides an enormous bass line that can only normally be found in dubstep – In many ways this is dubstep house with a funky twist.
